Kimmeridge Bay Viewing Platforms

Kimmeridge Bay is a conceptual public space project, based on the South West Coast Path of Dorset, England.

In response to increasing erosion and environmental change, the Kimmeridge Bay Viewing Platforms are sensitively designed interventions which educate viewers to the climate and conditions of the coastline which are constantly changing. The Cor-Ten steel clad tower also changes with time, changing in colour and texture as time passes, to become one with the environment in which it is a guest. At the same time, the viewing platforms offer an opportunity to take in the beauty of the Dorset coastline, preserved for generations to come.
